Playing to a sold out crowd at the Meridian Centre in St. Catharines, the Arkells put on stellar show with the crowd singing along to every song. The infectious energy of the band rarely slowed down. Add in a 3 piece horn section and you had a sound that was as at times even better than the recorded versions. This is a band that is at best playing for a crowd. Max Kerman (vocal and guitar) never stops moving and in rare moment of trust with a crowd of 6000 people, he handed out his phone to the audience to pass it around an take some pictures and videos and the deal was it needed to be handed back to the sound board by the end of the night – it worked!
